A new step to support engineers in the simulation and design of electronic systems
EDA Expert officially joins the Siemens Digital Industries Software ecosystem, a major player in industrial software dedicated to the design, simulation, and digital transformation of complex products and systems. On the occasion of the Partner Summit EMEA, a European event bringing together Siemens' strategic partners, Victor TRUONG, head of EDA Expert, represented the company and participated in the launch of this new collaborative dynamic.

For the engineers and R&D teams we support, this partnership marks an important milestone: it strengthens our ability to offer advanced software solutions covering the design, multiphysics simulation and optimization of electronic and electromagnetic systems.
Siemens Digital Industries Software: a global leader in industrial software
Siemens AG is one of the world's leading technology companies. Its division Siemens Digital Industries Software develops software solutions designed to accelerate industrial innovation, from design to production. These solutions enable, in particular:
- designing complex mechanical and electronic systems
- simulate multiphysics physical phenomena (electromagnetism, thermal, mechanical, power…)
- managing the complete product lifecycle (PLM)
- deploy strategies to digital twin and industrial digital transformation.

The best-known solutions include:
- Solid Edge et NX for mechanical design
- Simcenter for multiphysics simulation and advanced analysis
- Teamcenter for product lifecycle management (PLM)
- Polarion for requirements management and software development.

These technologies now constitute a a reference for engineering teams in the electronics, automotive, aerospace, energy and defense industries.
Siemens' acquisition of Altair: a major development for simulation
In March 2025, Siemens announced the acquisition of Altair Engineering, a recognized specialist in industrial simulation and analysis. This acquisition significantly strengthens Siemens' software portfolio in several key areas:
- mechanical and electromagnetic simulation
- High-performance computing (HPC)
- Data science and artificial intelligence applied to engineering
- design optimization and exploration.

The integration of Altair technologies within the platform Siemens Xcelerator aims to create the world's most comprehensive portfolio of AI-driven industrial software, while strengthening the capabilities of digital twin For manufacturers. For engineers, this means access to a unified environment that allows them to design, simulate and optimize complex products faster, while leveraging advanced computing and artificial intelligence technologies.
Recognized simulation technologies for electronics and electromagnetism
With the integration of Altair into the Siemens ecosystem, several key solutions are joining the Siemens Digital Industries Software portfolio, including:
- PSIM for the simulation of power electronics systems
- Flux for low-frequency electromagnetic simulation
- Feko for high-frequency electromagnetic analysis and antennas
- SimLab to simulate, optimize and improve the reliability of the thermal performance of electronic components and systems
- And many more to discover, such as EEvision, PolarionSimSolid, Teamcenter, Simcenter Embed, StarVision.

These tools are widely used in sectors where electromagnetic phenomena and power electronics play a critical role: embedded electronics, RF systems and antennas, energy conversion, electric motorization or electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
What this partnership brings to engineers and R&D teams
As a partner of Siemens Digital Industries Software, EDA Expert strengthens its positioning as specialist in design and simulation tools for electronics.
Our mission is to support engineers at every stage:

A collaboration focused on innovation
For EDA Expert, joining the Siemens Digital Industries Software ecosystem represents an important strategic step. Our goal remains the same: to provide engineers with the best design and simulation technologies, while also providing the technical expertise needed to exploit their full potential. In a context where electronic systems are becoming ever more complex, the combination of advanced simulation, artificial intelligence and digital twin opens up new perspectives to accelerate industrial innovation.
Participate in the roadshow for free (Spring 2026, 4 dates in France)
Continuing this partnership with Siemens Digital Industries Software, Several major events dedicated to industrial simulation will be organized free of charge in France in the spring of 2026. as part of the Realize Live Simulation days. These technical meetings will bring together engineers, CAE experts, and industry professionals to discuss the latest advances in multiphysics simulation, artificial intelligence applied to engineering, and high-performance computing. They will also provide an opportunity to discover, one year after Altair's integration into the Siemens ecosystem, the concrete synergies between simulation technologies and the solutions in the Simcenter suite.

The program includes: industry feedback, technical demonstrations, AI-powered simulation workflow optimization, CAD-computation coupling to accelerate pre-design phases, and HPC calculation strategies to reduce simulation times. These events will take place in four French cities. EDA Expert will be present to support its clients and prospects, enabling them to explore firsthand the new capabilities offered by the Siemens ecosystem for the design and simulation of electronic and industrial systems.
